In addition, I will use a Forum section to expand the user dialogue within both topics already presented and those suggested, but not currently covered within the piece. My hope is the Forum section will give the work a life beyond those presented in the flash database modules.

Structure and Maintentance of Forum Section

The Forum section will be constructed in PHP and MySQL using the free PHPBB forum softwared. PHPBB offers a lot of advantages:

• It's free and easy to use
• It is maintained oand managed n my own server.
• Customizable PHP and stylesheets to give the Forum the same look and feel as the Flash modules
• Flexible page structure allows for a variety of media to be inserted in pages, i.e. Flash, Quicktime, Audio, images.
• It allows me to set permissions so that I can review and approve posts by others.
